"...for in the wilderness shall waters break
out, and streams in the desert."
There is a great door of opportunity that the Lord has opened in the community of Nazlini. There was a church building that burned down in Nazlini several years ago. A new building was put up with insurance money, but it was never occupied. It sat vacant for around eight years.
Our son, Missionary Joel Haynes, has started a church in this needy area. The building has been remodeled and services are being held now on a regiular basis. It is nearly impossible to get a land site like this on the Reserfvation. It is over 3 1/2 acres in size and will be a tremendous tool to reach out all across the Navajo Nation. The first service was held on July 29, 2012. The first baptism service was held on Octover 7, 2012. There are plans to someday put bunkhouses on the site for camps and groups that come to help in the ministry.
The church building now has water, but we are still waiting on the electricity. Please pray that we can get this process finished as soon as possible.
